About the client
Rose van Asten en Liesbeth Sleijster decided to start Cocoon Coffee in 2008 after winnen many coffee awards and the leading World Barista Championships. Together they are searching for the best quality coffees and inspiration to make the perfect espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or filter coffee. Their ambition is to bring the coffee quality in the Netherlands to a higher level by sharing their knowledge, experience and provide training.
Today Cocoon Coffee is a celebrated name within the coffee branche. Besides their ongoing contribution as judges during championships they offer training to coffee professionals working in restaurants, hotels, cafes and coffee bars to improve their barista skills. After completing the training modules in their workshop in Nijmegen the participants can attend the official SCAE exams to get their certified diploma.
About the project
Cocoon Coffee wanted to make the next step in their ambition to improve the coffee quality in the Netherlands by roasting and selling their own high quality coffee from Ethiopia, Brasil and Colombia. Rose and Liesbeth asked Nangka to join them on their mission and help them to create an online shop. Studio anotherday created a new logo for Cocoon Coffee with an organic style to better visualise the level of detail and perfection they want to create by combining different flavours.
Nangka created the new responsive webshop where barista professionals and coffee enthusiasts can book the SCAE foundation, intermediate and professional training modules as well as the latte art training. In the new online shop customers can also find a small selection of specialty coffees roasted in the variation espresso and filter. These limited editions will be replaces every couple months by a new hand picked selection of coffee beans.
